கேள்வி:

Dear Brother, Thanks for your response, I expect, you answered this way only. I am asking “where is God’s love. “. If you asking the same question to people whoever follows jesus. They immediately shows Jesus because he is a good shepherd. We are accepting he is son of god. He gave his life to all human being (Including you. If you are accept or deny not a matter,he gave his life for you). In bible’s God shows his love through action (he gave his life). Not just wrriten text(like you mentioned in your article “God loves whoever belive”). Need action. John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10: 27-30 27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30: I and my Father are one. Suppose, for a example, you take all the religion books. We can see lot of text like “God loves you”, God loves whoever belive him like that. My Question is “ God is love”. His main character is Love. He was created the Heaven , Hell and earth(including all the good things in the earth). He loves all the humanbeing. Including you and me His love is not comparable with any other relationship in the world(his love is more superior than mother’s love). Any mother if they knows thepain of the hell (infinite pain) then they doesn’t allows his children goes to hell. She ready to give her life to save her children. (Unfortunately all mothers/fathers doesn’t feel hell that much. They just knows) because she loves her children. Her point of views children is more precious compare to any others. If God is love then what he did for human salvation?. He simply gave books(quran, bilble, Geeta or some other religion books). If it so then he(God) failed his main core character. He is not eligible to teach love. John 1:17 17. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. His responsibility to save the humanbeing(If he is love). Man doesn’t have the will to resue them self. Is the Quran’s God shows his love through action ?. I think no. Shows only text. But bible’s God shows his love through action. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 15:13-14 13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Dear Mr. Anonymous, we started this blog just to answer Mr. Umar’s false proclamations against Islam. We always interested to answers the questions only if it comes within the subject. It seems like you are driving us out of the subject, but that fine as long as we both learn each other.

Before we get in to the subject, we wish to request you that, “Please answer all our questions which we left for you on our responses”. It is not fair to expect us to answer about Christianity/bible while, you are not coming forward to clarify our doubts about Christianity/bible. We hope you won’t mind keeping this as a practice to answer all our clarification before submitting another set of questions.

பதில்:

Dear Mr. Anonymous, based on your above comments, we understand your point as “To believe in a god, he should come on the humanly form, and die as a human for people sin”. Am we got your point right?

This is what the non believers asking from the beginning, and now the Christians too join hands with them, do you? Do you wanna say a god can’t be a god unless he comes in human form? Is that really needed for a god to get a human form? Doesn’t he know what will be exact thing on the human’s life? He is the creator and he knows everything, the one which is on the past and the one which is going to come. Is that required for a god to feel the human’s pain by incarnation? He is the one who teaches our brain about the pain, but do you think he don’t know that?

If he has to take human form, then he has to take it for every century because, the form of pain and standard of living is keeps getting changed when time passes by. So do you want to ask him take avatar every century as other religions believes? If so then what makes different between Christianity and other religions? You guys both share the same idea and asks god for incarnation? If god becomes human then, who is going to control other things? Will it run automatic? If everything can run automatic then what’s the need of a god now? Does in bible ever god says that he going to take incarnation? If god doesn’t say that then do you want to command over your creator to incarnate? We don’t have rights to command our creator rather he owns all the commandments don’t you believe this???.

Mr. Anonymous, we are trying to understand you point, do you mean that the bible’s god showed his love is by sending his only begotten son (who is also god), and take back all our sins by killing his own son (who is also god). Am we got your point right?

If that was right then, on your comments you had also mentioned that “if an ordinary mother knows the pain, then she won’t allow his son to bear it”. Am we got it right?

If that was right, then do you wanna say, even an ordinary women don’t wants his son to bear the pain, but the god who is full of love, who creates and knows much about the pain, don’t show mercy on his own begotten son, and wants him to be on pain??? Is it acceptable as a father? Imagine if you are god, do you allow your son to bear pain by having others sin? If so then you are failed on your nature, and you will not be called as god anymore, am we right???

Does bible god say that sin’s can be exchanged between others? If he says like that, then how could he contradict his own command that “father won’t inherit son and son won’t inherit father’s sin?

Ezekiel 18:20 The person who sins is the one who will die. A son will not suffer for his father’s iniquity, and a father will not suffer for his son’s iniquity; the righteous person will be judged according to his righteousness, and the wicked person according to his wickedness.

Does bible god says that “believing Jesus is the only way to live”

OR

“Turning back from sin and repentance will make them lives”?

Ezekiel 18:21 “But if the wicked person turns from all the sin he has committed and observes all my statutes and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die. 18:22 None of the sins he has committed will be held against him; because of the righteousness he has done, he will live.

Does Jesus say that sin’s can be exchanged between others?

2 Chronicles 25:4 However, he did not put their children to death, according to what is written in the law, in the book of Moses, where the lord commanded, the fathers shall not be put to death for the children, or the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall die for his own sin.”

Do you wanna say, bible god always change his mind? Or he will always contradict on his own commands? Even on the contradiction you going to produce, is that told by the god himself or Jesus or the author is unknown?

Ok, for your sake, if we accept your argument that “Jesus died for our sins” then, As a god doesn’t he know that before?

You had referenced a bible quote (John 10:11) out of context, and it sounds like “Jesus already knows that, he going to die for the sin of people”. Does Jesus really predict on the “John 10:11” regarding his death for our sins? No, he was actually telling us a parable (John 10:6) and the story is about a shepherd and the sheep. According to that story, he is a good shepherd, so when a wolf is approaching, he won’t run as the bad shepherds do. The bad shepherds will run as if they won’t owns the sheep, but Jesus is telling us that he won’t run fearing the wolf. This is about the parable not a prediction of the death for others sin.

10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 10:12 The hired hand, who is not a shepherd and does not own sheep, sees the wolf coming and abandons the sheep and runs away. So the wolf attacks the sheep and scatters them. 10:13 Because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep, he runs away.

Ok, for your sake, If we believe as Jesus knows that he going to die for others sin

OR

If Jesus is ready to give his life for others sin then, why does he cry on the cross?

Matthew 27:45 Now from noon until three, darkness came over all the land. 27:46 At about three o’clock Jesus shouted with a loud voice, Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

Mark 15:33 and when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which is being interpreted, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Well we won’t care whether it was on the third hour or the ninth hour that Jesus starts screaming. We want to know, if Jesus knows that he going to be resurrected OR if he is ready to face the death for others sin then, what’s the need for him to scream in front of the enemies? Don’t tell me that this is proving the bible prophesies. Imagine if an ordinary Indian soldier on the war head screams in front of the enemies, then what you will call him? Is he ready to give his life for the nation? Don’t be joking…

What will you call an Indian army on the war head, screams with the governor general for a choice other than being one on the war? But bible says Jesus asks god to take away that. Is this not contradicted that a person ready to give life for people’s sin is sweating and asking god to change the decision? How could god forsake his only begotten son, while sending angels to strengthen him?

Luke 22:41 He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed, 22:42 Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.” 22:43 Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.22:44 And in his anguish he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

Do you wanna say that, while your god is going to face death you can sleep? But bible says that.

Luke 22:45 When he got up from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping, exhausted from grief. 22:46 So he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”

If Jesus already knows that he going to resurrected then, as a god what he could say as the last word to his loving mother Mary? Goodbye mom, we will meet in three days? OR I’m god I’ll take care of you from the heaven OR at least we will meet at heaven?

John 19:26 So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, look, here is your son!” 19:27 He then said to his disciple, “Look, here is your mother!” From that very time the disciple took her into his own home.

If Jesus already knows that he going to die for our sins, then what the point of warning us regarding the hell??? According to your argument, Jesus already washed our sins, so what’s the point of having the hell? If you say the hell is designated for non believers then, again your god failed on this task. How could he allow his son to knock the doors of the hell???

The man in Luke 16:24 cries: ". . .I am tormented in this FLAME."

In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting FIRE,.."

Revelation 20:15 says, " And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE."

Revelation 14:10 says, " . . . and he shall be tormented with fire and BRIMSTONE . . ." And Job 18 describes the " . . . PLACEof him that knoweth not God" (vs 21), in verse 15 as, " . . . BRIMSTONE shall be scattered upon his habitation." Do you know what brimstone is? It's sulfur. And do you know where sulfur or brimstone is found

Jesus says of the man in Luke 16:

23 "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENTS. . . "
24
". . . for I am TORMENTED in this FLAME."
28
". . .PLACE OF TORMENT."

The Bible warns in Psalm 9:17, you will not only be in hell — you will BE TURNED INTO HELL! You will literally BE HELL!

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalm 9:17

YOU will see HELL. . .

YOU will smell HELL. . .

YOU will breathe HELL. . .

YOU will hear HELL. . .

YOU will feel HELL. . .

YOU WILL BE HELL. . .

The Bible describes it as weeping (Matt 8:12), wailing (Matt 13:42), gnashing of teeth (Matt 13:50), darkness (Matt 25:30),flames (Luke 16:24), burning (Isa 33:14), torments (Luke 16:23), everlasting punishment! Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."

If Jesus is full of love then, how could he warn the people that, he going to crush them in the hell? Imagine if Mahatma Gandhi advocates non violence on his whole life and brings AK47 to the satya graha, what will you call him???

LUKE 19:27 But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and slaughter them in front of me!’

Matthew 13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers.13:42 They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke 12:49 I have come to bring fire on the earth – and how I wish it were already kindled! 12:50 I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is finished! 12:51 Do you think I have come to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division! 12:52 For from now on there will be five in one household divided, three against two and two against three. 12:53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

If Jesus is god and if he knows already that, believing Jesus alone will rescue from hell, then why does he advice people to suffer themselves for their sins? He must have just said frankly that “I am God and believe me, you won’t go to hell” is that very hard to pronounce? If he might already told in the bible as he going to save people from hell then, why does he contradicts by saying to the people like this?

Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
9:47 And if thine eye offend thee,
pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

If Jesus is god and full of love then, doesn’t he know that, fig trees won’t produce fruits on the non season? Does a tree can do anything on its own against the season? If he is powered enough to kill a tree, and if he is full of love then, why not he make use of his power to fruit it?

Mark 11:12 Now the next day, as they went out from Bethany, he was hungry. 11:13 After noticing in the distance a fig tree with leaves, he went to see if he could find any fruit on it. When he came to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 11:14 He said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. …

11:20 In the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 11:21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.” 11:22 Jesus said to them,“Have faith in God.

If Jesus is god and if he knows already that, he is having power to raise the dead then, why does he wept while hearing Lazarus death? If he knows already that he can bring back him to live then, what’s the need to cry? Does god cry on death?

John 11:32 Now when Mary came to the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 11:33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the people who had come with her weeping, he was intensely moved in spirit and greatly distressed. 11:34 He asked, “Where have you laid him?” They replied, “Lord, come and see.” 11:35 Jesus wept. 11:36 Thus the people who had come to mourn said, “Look how much he loved him!” 11:37 But some of them said, “This is the man who caused the blind man to see! Couldn’t he have done something to keep Lazarus from dying?”

If Jesus is love then is that not contradicts that, he will punish those who don’t accept him?

LUKE 19:27 But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and slaughter them in front of me!’

If Jesus is god and if he is full of love, and if believing Jesus alone lead to heaven then, why does he will forsake those who call him lord lord?

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven – only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 7:22On that day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?’ 7:23 Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you lawbreakers!’

If Jesus is full of love then, why does he spread Christianity over fear, why does he killed a husband and wife who doesn’t share the profit with him?

Acts 5:1 Now a man named Ananias, together with Sapphira his wife, sold a piece of property. 5:2 He kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet. 5:3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back for yourself part of the proceeds from the sale of the land? 5:4 Before it was sold, did it not belong to you? And when it was sold, was the money not at your disposal? How have you thought up this deed in your heart? You have not lied to people but to God!”

5:5 When Ananias heard these words he collapsed and died, and great fear gripped all who heard about it. 5:6 So the young men came, wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. 5:7 After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, but she did not know what had happened. 5:8 Peter said to her, “Tell me, were the two of you paid this amount for the land?” Sapphira said, “Yes, that much.” 5:9 Peter then told her, “Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out!” 5:10 At once she collapsed at his feet and died. So when the young men came in, they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 5:11 Great fear gripped the whole church and all who heard about these things.

Does believing Jesus alone can get us into heaven? No but the righteous deeds, repentance and believing the only god will get us to heaven. If you want to argue against it, then you should explain the persons like Hitler who is a born Christian, and supports Christianity, killed five million innocent Jews. If one among them is your wife or your son then, do you ready to accept gods judgment as he belongs to heaven, because he believe in Jesus? Even if you want to say, believing Jesus as god, and righteous deeds will take us to heaven then, what about those who died before Jesus time, will they not enter heaven? Is there any clear statement from Jesus mouth to prove your case which won’t contradict his other teachings?

Mr. Anonymous, now let’s come on to the verse you quote

1

John 10:30: I and my Father are one. – to prove Jesus and father are one

This is the most common verse, which you will find all your friends are quoting in order to show that Jesus claimed divinity. For context read from verse 23. John 10:23-30

23 and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon's Colonnade.

24 The Jews gathered around him, saying, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly."

25. Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me,

This is the first charge by the Jews that Jesus (pbuh) was speaking ambiguously.

26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.

27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and the Father are one."

Verse 28 says that “No one can snatch them out of my hand” verse 29 says “No one can snatch them out of my father’s hand” then verse 30 says that “I and the Father are one”

It is one in purpose. In context, we come to know that Jesus is saying that once the person has believed. God and I both see to it that the person remains in faith. In purpose, they both are one.

Let’s read further.

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:” (John 17:21)

“One” used in both the verses John 10:30 and John 17:21 is the same. Its “heis” hice, so if you want to insist that it is One in a trinity than you should change trinity into another concept meaning 14 gods. God Almighty, Jesus (pbuh) and twelve disciples.

Let’s read after verse 30. John verses 31-35

31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him,

The Jews wanted to kill him for good riddance. Jesus (pbuh) gives the reply.

32 but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"

33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.

This is the second charge by the Jews that Jesus (pbuh) claimed divinity and anyone who blasphemes should be put to death according to the Jewish Law (Leviticus 24:16). But Jesus (pbuh) gives them the answer.

"34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'?

He is quoting from Psalms 82:6

Psalm 82:6 "I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'

John 10:35 If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came-- and the Scripture cannot be broken--

Jesus (pbuh) is telling them that in the language of the Jews. Prophets are called as “god.” (Exodus 7:1) Other people are called as “gods” and you do not take exception to it than why do you take exception when I am making a far inferior claim of being the son of God.

This explanation is sufficient to prove that Jesus (pbuh) did NOT claim divinity when he said, “I and my Father are one”

Even if you want to argue as Jesus mean he is god in John 10:30, then let’s work it out with an example.

Imagine you are a prophet and out of hundred places you declaring the “oneness of god” and the “greatness of god”. But on only one instance you are not directly framing you as god but something like “John 10:30 Me and my father are one”. So what do we suppose to do? All the prophets passed before you was declaring “oneness of god”, and out of hundred places you yourself declare “oneness of god”, but only on one instance, even though you are not contradict the “oneness of god”, the word you spoken somehow resembles as you are god. So we should neglect the only one instance for which we don’t know the author, and we should keep the other instances in which it goes without contradiction of your preaching, am I right?

2

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Even though the above quote won’t claim Jesus as god, we don’t know for what you quoted it? The above quote just says “As Moses receives the command likewise the grace and truth came by Jesus Christ”. Because the sentence was not quoted by the mouth of Jesus, we are in need to find who exactly quoted it. The Christians attributed it to John, but we know from Acts 4:13 that john is an illiterate. Even on John 1:6 the sentences was formed in such a way that, some third person is writing author, not the john himself. So we don’t really need to care the above passage, unless Mr. Anonymous has any issue out of it.

John 1:6 A man came, sent from God, whose name was John. 1:7 He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that everyone might believe through him.

3

John 15:13-14 13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Mr. Anonymous, as we already said we don’t know the author of John, so it’s hard to believe it as a divine revelation. If you wanna say that, you believe this as a divine revelation, then for you we will examine the above quote.

A divine revelation should not have error, am we right? Let take the above verse and analyze whether it is a human work or from the god!!!

The above verse John 15:13 says “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

Yes indeed, it is a greater love a friend giving life for a friend.

But it is not the max, “Greater love hath no man than this”, I mean there is a greater than this a man can have: “A man lay down his life for his enemy”.

Let me ask you again, which is greater?

“A man die for his friend”

OR

“A man die for his enemy”

Even though a man is your enemy, and if you come front to die for his sin then, it is the greater love a man can have rather the verse you quote.

John 15:13-14 13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

So according to this that we believe the above quote is wrong, because it says that, the “greatest love a man can have is a friend die for his sin”. It was not right, and a divine revelation will never be wrong, am I right? In conclusion, the above verse can’t be a divine work.

Dear Mr. Anonymous,

  1. Based on the above argument, we hope we gave you enough proof to prove that, the bible god didn't provide his only begotten son for others sin. Even if you claim that then, he failed on his main core character which is love, because he failed to show his love to his only son.
  2. We also hope that, we showed enough proof to prove that Jesus didn't willingly died on the cross for others sin. If so then, he might have not cried, and not asked the god for substitution.
  3. Based on the above argument, we hope that we showed enough proof to prove that, bible god didn't showed his love by action; rather he commands the people to follow the right path as usual. If you wanna claim as bible god shows his love by action, then this love should applies in whole to believers and non believers, it shouldn't be limited to those who believes in Jesus as god.
  4. Based on the above argument, we hope that we showed enough proof to prove that, believing Jesus as god alone can’t get us into heaven, but the righteous deeds, repentance and believing the oneness of god will get us to heaven.
  5. Based on the above argument, we hope that we showed enough proof to prove that, it is not needed for the god to take human form to show his love. Bible clearly shows that, the usual way of god showing love is by sending his messengers and by guiding the people by sending the religious texts and commandments. The movement god takes the human form, he loose the characteristics of god and he no longer be called as god.

Based on the above argument, we hope make you understand that the god will show his love by guiding the people on to the right path and those who don’t want to follow his commandments are choosing themselves the path to hell. We also hope that, you’ll response back all the clarification we left for you with clear bible proof, so that we can have a healthy discussion on the blog.

Thanking you in advance,

Assalamu alaikum,

-Zia & Apsar
